Flater's Resort is host to a number of sizable annual events.  Starting this list out is the Brat Feed benefitting the local snowmobile club, the Flambeau Area Trail Tenders (F.A.T.T.).  This feed takes place in January at the Ballpark and on good ‘snow' years you will see upwards of 200 sleds in the ball field.

The Triple-R-Triathlon, held the 2nd Saturday in May each year consists of a  3-mile run, a 15-mile bike ride, and a 6-mile canoe or kayak trek downriver. This year was the 26th Triathlon held with more than 400 racers!  The Indianhead ATV Club volunteers their assistance with monitoring intersections on the race path and serving food at the finish line.  Music, food, and beverages always follow the race, and a raffle is held with dozens of gifts donated from local sponsors.  In the past 2 years alone, the event produced enough funds to donate $2700 to PRIDE, (a member of Community Foundation) established to assist the Lake Holcombe School District.

The month of August boasts 2 annual events at Flater's.  The Softball Tournament is held the 1st weekend.  For more than 35 years, around 16 teams converge at the Ballpark for a weekend of playing ball and drinking beer.  The second event held is a fairly new one; held on the 3rd Saturday which is the Bogies to Flater's Tube Float.  Grab your inner tube and meet at Bogies on Chippewa Avenue for an afternoon just coasting down the Chippewa River where food and additional beverages will be waiting for you at Flater's.

In September, on the 3rd Saturday, Flater's holds a hayride.  This event is by reservation only as space is limited.  Around 130 people show up to climb aboard one of five trailers pulled by tractor and go for a leisurely ride through the Chippewa County Forest to enjoy the fall colors.  Don't be fooled by leisurely though, this ride is chock full of rousing good fun!
